My personal favorite place to get news that is important to me is ESPN. I want to know everything that is happening in the world that has to do with sports. I like all sports, which is why everything is interesting to me on ESPN. All of the analysts, anchors, and sideline reporters do a fantastic job of supplying people that love sports with the most up to date news. My favorite analyst is Kirk Herbstreit because he does an awesome job of breaking down plays as they occur and explaining why things happened the way they happened. Erin Andrews is my favorite sideline reporter. She does an excellent job of getting to the coaches and players right before halftime and after the game before any other reporters have a chance to. Scott Van Pelt is my favorite anchor on ESPN. He does a great job in getting the up to date news to the world as it occurs whether it is morning or night. He is also sometimes funny with the way he says things and talks to other anchors which is why a lot of people like him too.

My second favorite source of news is The Roanoke Times. It has, in my opinion, the best area coverage of news a newspaper could have. I have never seen an error in The Roanoke Times since I began following their news. Andy Bitter, who works for The Roanoke Times, is the beat writer for Virginia Tech football. He covers the Hokie's football team very well, and keeps all Virginia Tech fans up to date on recruiting and statistics. He also keeps fans updated on injuries and suspensions.
